Wednesday, November 16, 2016

The board of directors for da Vinci Days Festival is pleased to announce they have contracted with local resident Carole Hobrock to serve as Festival Director for 2017 da Vinci Days events.

"Carole is uniquely qualified to serve the growth and success of the festival," said Chris Heuchert, da Vinci Days board president. "Her experience includes event management, brand promotion, sales and extensive volunteer engagement in the Corvallis community."

Hobrock's community engagement includes serving as immediate past-president of Leadership Corvallis, participating as a member of Zonta Club of Corvallis, and volunteering for the planning process of Imagine Corvallis 2040.

"I look forward to creating increased awareness of da Vinci Days and expanded and diverse attendance for the 2017 festival events," Hobrock said.

Da Vinci days celebrates innovation in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM), and is pleased to partner with Oregon State University, Hewlett Packard, the City of Corvallis and Benton County.

Information on May and July festival activities will be forthcoming.
